I design primarily in Squarespace! It offers a great all-in-one system for customized sites and for businesses that foresee major growth. Squarespace easily allows for email funnels, easy addition of online courses, print-on-demand, e-commerce integrations, scheduling, and more! 

Absolutely! Squarespace has a robust e-commerce system with many features.

If you have thousands of products, however, there may be a better platform (like Shopify) for your business.

Not necessarily. You can definitely continue with your current domain provider, however Squarespace domains are super easy to manage all in one place.

It varies! There are several packages and add-ons to choose from. If you’re not sure what would best fit your needs, please schedule a 15 minute consult, and we can figure it out together. Squarespace also offers several subscription plans. You will have to pay Squarespace directly either monthly or yearly for hosting and domains, plus for extras like online course hosting, email, and scheduling if applicable. 

That depends on how quickly you gather your content. Writing your web copy and content often takes the most time, so it can help to have a head start on that. Websites can take 2 weeks at minimum or several months at max, while a fair general overall estimate is about 2-6 weeks after receiving your content. Your speedy feedback regarding edits and answering questions helps to efficiently complete your project. We can discuss the required time reserved for your project during our initial consulting session.

You should be prepared to provide all assets - images, copy, your logo, what pages your website needs to have and the copy for those pages, as well as any other media or integrations that you’d like connected to any of your pages. I can provide feedback to eliminate redundant content and to fill in gaps where needed. I can also recommend plugins or integrations based on your use-case.

A logo is great and an essential piece of collateral in your brand suite, BUT if your budget is tight, you can simply use a site title on your Squarespace website until you’re ready to invest in a quality brand package.

We will use Zoom for our one hour consulting session before we dive in to your project, and likely a second shorter Zoom that can fall anywhere in the project timeline depending on project needs. I also love to send video walkthroughs, screenshots, and emails.

Yes! I use Squarekicker plus custom coding to enhance the look and function of your site. Special requests for more complicated coding requiring research outside of my typical design processes will incur an additional fee.

Though these images will live on your website, you cannot use them for other design projects unless you purchase a license or service. (Reach out if you need a quote on this.) Screenshots of your website for promotion of your website, however, are not restricted.

Short answer - that depends on you!

Your website is a vital piece of your marketing plan, but you are responsible for working this plan to effectively gain an audience. (I have a few resources for this if needed.) My design process does integrate brand strategy to attract your target audience, plus, the benefit of    having a unique, beautiful, and functional website is that you will feel more confident to share it consistently!

Integration of 1-3 outside email collection forms or landing pages (already designed and live) is included in your package cost. The extra page in your package can be used to create a simple landing page for an email capture/lead magnet if you choose. I can add a sales page or discuss additional sales funnels (quoted separately) upon request. 

You can start a new project quote whenever you find that you need edits. I do not offer a retainer for maintenance at this time (though I’m open to requests), and I’m happy to help as the need arises on a one-off basis.

Definitely! Squarespace is very user-friendly. My video tutorials about DIY edits are included in your package, and I’ll add them to a hidden page on your site once your project is complete. Just dive in, and don’t be afraid to test things out!
