How to Create Seamless Instagram Carousels in Canva
Instagram shouldn’t feel like a slog, it should be fun to promote your business there. If Instagram is one of your chosen marketing platforms, here’s one way to shake it up a bit: Seamless Carousels! Of course, as a designer and artist, I may be biased- creating new things is one of my favorite things to do! 👩🎨
If your Insta grid has gotten stale and you want to try something new both for your own sake and to grab your audience’s attention then you might like to learn how to create seamless scrolling Instagram carousels with me. I created this video tutorial for just such the occasion 🤓
A few things to remember when designing carousels:
Negative (empty space) is good for breathing room but too empty can lack warmth.
You want to lead the viewer’s eye from left to right. Use directional elements or graphics that flow.
Don’t add too much text. Just enough to make your point. You can always add more in the caption.
Have fun. If you don’t want to learn this and make them, don’t do it! You don’t have to chase every social media trend. Do what works for your business.
