I crafted a new website, branding, and commerce setup using Squarespace integrated with Square. The Square integration streamlined inventory, enhancing sales efficiency. The website showcased her distinctive hat designs, providing customers with a platform to explore, appreciate, and purchase creations. It effectively communicated her brand values and craftsmanship.

Branding & SEO
First, I explored existing websites of other hat makers to understand industry standards and user expectations. SEO research was conducted to optimize the site for search engines, ensuring growing visibility for the life of the strategy.
Visuals
Additionally, I analyzed various brush textures, aiming to integrate a gritty pattern that would enhance the visual strategy of the website. Color research focused on finding a neutral tone that complemented the hat designs without overshadowing them.

A multi-channel design solution to address the business’ lack of a website and branding and enhance JH Hats’ reach and impact.

I utilized Squarespace to create a beautiful and functional website showcasing Jen’s hats and brand essence. The design, with a textured look and neutral/muted colors, highlighted the hats effectively.
Integrating Square for real-time inventory updates improved both online and in-person customer experiences. The website, beyond sales, became a tool for expressing brand values and connecting with her audience.
Offline, I extended the impact with versatile business cards that she was able to later use as her booth banner design. A logo and alternate version ensured consistent brand representation across various media.
